It's the little things that are awesome or not

Hey everyone!

So today hasn't been that great for me. I stayed up until 4:30 last night waiting and registering for Pottermore. I accidentally registered three times. Eugh. But I got in for all of them, now to wait until I get my welcome email....eughX2. J.K. really likes to make us wait (Happy Birthday to J.K. and Harry by the way :) !) for things doesn't she? I killed time by watch Limitless, Harry Potter and the CoS, and random TGWTG videos, and fanfiction of course.

So let's remember that last night I got a total of about 5 hours of sleep (which for me is bad) and keep that in mind for the rest of this post shall we.

So I woke up at 9:00am feeling slightly tired yet pretty alert considering last night's shenanigans (look to my twitter for a play by play XD). I joined my parents down stairs as they finished breakfast, where I promptly plopped down on my moms chair and fell asleep. My mom woke me up and we talked about how late I stayed up last night (strangely she didn't get mad, mostly because it's summer) and Pottermore.

Then we watched Jaws (the second half specifically) which was okay. I can't say too much about it because I wasn't really paying attention.

Then I skipped breakfast, validated my Pottermore accounts, and wasted time on the computer (which was slow :P)

I had lunch then worked out on EA's 30 day challenge, after which I got extremely sick (still am now) and fell on my bed and dove in and out of sleep for a while. I felt like a bomb went off in body it is this bad)

I had soup for dinner and then I had a LONG bath where I read an awesome book called The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney, which is awesome if I may say.

Now I am here, cleaning out one of my drawers for absolutely no reason at all. This is very un-me because usually I am an organized chaos kind of person.

So why am I telling you all this? Personally I don't know, if someone weirdly cares and gets something out of reading this fine by me. But that is leading up to the single thing that turned this day from awful into tolerable. Let me tell you.

Paper, I found a huge stack of paper just now while I was cleaning out the previously mentioned drawer.

When I was younger I would take huge stacks of paper from my mom's office and hoard them in my room, I'd use like two sheets and never look for them again. But new "writer" me is ecstatic to find more paper to write on! Hooray!

At least this day wasn't awful, because tomorrow will certainly be a challenge. No I won't be going anywhere but I don't think a challenge always means being in a different place. Nay, tomorrow I have two challenges to embark on!

One is my new job as a writer at www.wizardinglife.com an awesome website I suggest you all check out for me!

And two is CampNaNoWriMo, don't know what it is? Go to www.nanowrimo.org to get more information. But in a nutshell it's national novel writing month. Every november people register for the site and plan to write 50 000 words in the month of november or write a novel. I plan on doing it this year. Now they have CampNaNoWriMo which is a summer version of that, they are doing it in the months of July and August this year, I missed July so I am doing August this year. It's gonna be pretty hard because of all my trips but trying will be worth it!

I leave you now, for I feel you have spent far too much time reading this when you could have been doing so many other things XD

The Post-Root Canal Effect

Hello Everyone,

The root canal procedure is over but that does not mean the pain is gone, Unfortunately. The procedure was normal, until my tooth decided to spontaneously bleed. Which is uncommon, and irregular. Just my luck, eh? This lengthened the torture for me and the poor dentists that had to do the root canal. I pity that dentist honestly I do, because they have to be insane to allow me into their office and fill all my cavities for these fourteen years.

Here's how it works in a nutshell: I am told to brush more, I scowl; I am told to floss, I scowl; I am told I am irresponsible, I glare; I have to have a root canal, I scream bloody murder.

For all my life I hated the dentist, I used to cry in the chair and dread appointments. My mother always listened to my displeasure openly and let me explode, which I don't thank her enough for.

And I'm getting off topic anyways...

The procedure was long and tedious. I listened to music sure but the drill always drowned the it out. I had to keep it low enough to hear if they were speaking but loud enough to drown out the noise. There was no happy medium.

In post my jaw was very sore and my tooth was in pain for a long time. I took painkillers but they did not help :(

And for some reason half of my right hand has been tingly and numb for no reason and it bugs me.

Thank you for letting me ramble without editing or looking back. I needed to write that.

Anyways, lately I've been hanging around my house. I've mostly been sleeping and reading because lately that's all I had the energy to do. Until I looked back to my FanFiction profile and saw all the reviews and story alerts for Voldemort? Meow!

If anyone from there is reading this (which I highly doubt) I would like to thank you, because honestly this story was spur-of-the-moment and I had no intentions of doing anything with it. I was bored so I wrote it, and that's all. So I was surprised to see all the story alerts and reviews telling me to update it. I will as soon as I catch up on my editing. You see, when I went away to the cottage I brought my FanFiction binder with me (if anyone cares feel free to let me know because it is quite extensive and detailed so if there is any interest I can write a post all about that) and edited all of my works. But lately I have been too lazy to put them onto the computer. And with this new original fiction on my mind (i know weird) I'm no sure when I will get around to it, but I'll try!

Ummmm, I think I'll write more tomorrow so I'll see you then?

Dreading Tomorrow....

Hello I have returned! Yep it was fun to be away for a week but I missed you internet! When I got home I immediately ran upstairs to my laptop to catch up with the tweets, videos, and posts. I'm still behind but slowly getting there.

I did a lot of reading last week. I read Harry Potter 1-3 and 7 in preparation for the final film, I read Hacking Timbuktu which was awesome and a review will be posted soon!

I did a lot of editing on the FanFiction front and will be implementing into my works so look out for that.

I went to a flea market and bought some nice stuff! I got a vintage Harry Potter and the GOF lunch box, Harry Potter Scene it? (Years 1-5), and a Bleach Key-chain for a friend. The lunchbox is awesome, it's square and metal so it looks vintage; its for the GOF for some reason and is 1 of 6000 made and I only paid 5 bucks for it.

I'm listening to one of my favourite wrock bands called The Secret Keepers right now on repeat! You should check them out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-tQrB8RgQY&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

I am dreading tomorrow because that is the day of the dreaded root canal! Ah! Then I get to see the movie on Wednesday. I'm not looking forward to it...

Wish me luck guys, it's nice to be back.

I'm going away!

Hello again,

I shall be away from Friday to Friday starting tomorrow.

I will be going to the land of no internet, more commonly referred to as my cottage. While I'm a little depressed that I'll be away when the new movie comes out I'm pretty excited because I love my cottage and we have a drive inn there so I MAY be able to see it. It also gives me a chance to work on FanFiction without any interruptions or distractions. I tend to get distracted a lot especially with my laptop because I'll go on one thing, then another, then they pile up and my computer gets fed up and dies on me...

I watched the live stream of the London Premiere of Deathly Hallows part 2 on YouTube today while running back to help my mom in the garden. She was less than happy about this arrangement but when we had lunch and watched it she got hooked. Overall the premiere was awesome! And kudos to the people in the square who camped for five days in the rain to be there! That is a WIN!

I'm pretty excited about the premiere, I've seen a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and interviewed so I am really excited and energetic about it! I am just hoping that I don't cry!!!

~~

Lately I've been feeling crafty. So I made a necklace with painted poptabs in the colours of the four Hogwarts houses. I did book colours so the Ravenclaw house is bronze and blue. I also didn't have the exact shades so I worked with what I had. Slytherin and Gryffindor were the first two and I meticulously painted in a pattern, I had to freehand Hufflepuff because I usually paint light colours first then go over with dark and Hufflepuffs are the opposite of the first two so it looks different, and I just hurried on Ravenclaw.  And here is the result!

~~

I also got this book from the library recently called Hacking Timbuktu by Stephen Davies. So far I like the book which is about hacking and parkour. I'll post a review when I'm finished it but I find it really gripping and hard to put down!

~~

See you next week!
